Unbiased Review: Tamron 150-500mm Lens in Action

This is a quick review of the Tamron 150-500mm Sony E Mount Lens. I paired this lens with the Sony A7IV. (NOTE: The price of this lens has gone up) I thought this lens produced sharp, crisp images. The auto focus was quick and reliable. My biggest complaint had to do with the Flex Zoom Lock, When shooting sports, I felt this feature was a hinderance and resulted in my missing several shots. But, I wouldn't say it was bad enough to prevent me from possibly purchasing this lens. It took me two weeks in order to be able to take this lens out to a ball game. Where I live there was two weeks of constant rain. I had planned to shoot several events but the weather would no cooperate. Finally, the storms paused just long enough for me to shoot a softball game.
