Carole King – “A Road To Nowhere” (Tomorrow) 1966

Written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. Produced by Gerry Goffin From a recording perspective, Carole King appeared to have wrapped up her career in 1963 with the release of “He’s A Bad Boy” in March, 1963. This was in spite of having a worldwide hit the prior year with “It Might As Well Rain Until September”. Then out of the blue came this one off release in 1966 but we had to wait another five years until 1971 when her recording career really took off with the release of two #1 albums, “Tapestry” and “Music”. “A Road To Nowhere” also saw a UK release on the London label.
