Lomachenko/Pacquiao - Triangle Theory & Angles - BF#06

A quick look at the foundational boxing concept known as the "Triangle theory". Not the way typically understood. This time we're dealing with slipping and countering an opponent. It's called triangle theory because of the conceptual triangle used. In the most basic form of triangle theory, each fighter establishes his own equilateral triangle with his opponent in the middle. By moving along the sides of their triangle while keeping their opponent on the inside of their triangle, they can establish advantageous angles. THIS IS ALL CONCEPTUAL. Boxers apply this instinctively without thinking about equilateral triangles etc. When you combine multiple persistent triangles you get other scholastic concepts within boxing such as Hexagonal (Hex) theory and Diamond theory. In the most basic form of triangle theory, only 1 triangle exists at a time.   / wk_boxing   Let's get to 9,000 subs! FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO LOOK FURTHER INTO THESE THEORETICAL CONCEPTS.
