Bullying Is Never a Path to Success Bullying on social media is wrong. Using another person’s content to gain attention while attempting to humiliate them and elevate yourself is not acceptable. My company and I will always stand on the side of fairness, kindness and what is right. Visibility, trust and customers should be earned by focusing on your own work, developing your expertise and listening to your customers, not by attacking colleagues or trying to push others down. I have personally received far too many hateful private messages. I have been belittled, called “a little girl” and told, “Why don’t you go and do some real forestry work?” But what exactly counts as real work? I have completed 5.5 years of university education and have 25 years of professional experience in comprehensive schools, upper secondary schools and the private sector. I work hard, pay my taxes and take care of my responsibilities. Is that not real work?
