Today, the remains of Minowa Castle are fragile, with large dry moats and earthworks remaining. The tower gate and bridge have also been recently rebuilt, allowing readers to see the castle Narimasa desperately defended. After the Nagano clan, Minowa Castle was renovated by Hojo Ujikuni and Ii Naomasa, and while most of the remains seen today are thought to date back to those times, they are still sufficient to imagine Narimasa's exploits.
