đą Evening Descending Mercy - Hidden by Mercy, Revealed by Mercy: Seeing KášášŁáša Through ĹrÄŤ Guru - Jun 01 2026 In Bhagavad-gÄŤtÄ, KášášŁáša says: nÄhaáš prakÄĹaḼ sarvasya yoga-mÄyÄ-samÄváštaḼ âI am not manifest to everyone, being covered by My yoga-mÄyÄ.â KášášŁáša is present everywhere, yet the conditioned jÄŤva cannot truly see Him. The Lord reveals Himself only through His mercy, and that mercy flows through ĹrÄŤ Guru and the Vaiᚣášavas. The entire meditation below revolves around this realization: KášášŁáša is not attained by independent effort but by mercy descending through Guru-paramparÄ. âThe lotus feet of ĹrÄŤ Guru are the exclusive abode of pure devotion. With great care and reverence, I bow down unto them.â When one truly realizes: âEverything sustaining my spiritual life is coming through Guruâs mercy,â then natural affection awakens for the giver of that mercy. âBy whose mercy one crosses material existence and attains KášášŁáša.â According to BG 7.25, KášášŁáša remains hidden from conditioned vision. Yet through Guruâs mercy, the veil begins to lift, and KášášŁáša becomes visible within the heart. âMake the words from Guruâs lotus mouth one with your heart. Desire nothing else.â âLet Guruâs instructions circulate within my consciousness. I need no separate desire.â From that surrender comes spiritual strength. âAttachment to ĹrÄŤ Guruâs lotus feet is the highest destination. By his mercy all desires become fulfilled.â Not material desires, but the soulâs deepest longingâto serve KášášŁáša. âHe who has given me divine eyes is my master birth after birth. He illuminates transcendental knowledge within the heart.â Guru gives spiritual sight. Before mercy, KášášŁáša may be standing directly before us, yet we cannot recognize Him. After mercy, everything becomes meaningful. âFrom him comes loving devotion, and ignorance is destroyed. The Vedas sing of his glories.â âI may think I am pushing forward in bhakti, but actually mercy is carrying me.â This is the Gaudiya understanding. Not: âI am advancing.â But: âMercy is advancing me.â âĹrÄŤ Guru is an ocean of mercy and the friend of the most fallen.â The conditioned soul realizes: âI am fallen, yet Guru continues carrying me toward KášášŁáša.â ⸝ Vaiᚣášava Mood âI offer repeated obeisances unto all Vaiᚣášavas, who are desire trees, oceans of mercy, and saviors of the fallen.â The devotee bows to all Vaiᚣášavas and desires the dust of their lotus feet. âThe dust of the Vaiᚣášavasâ feet is my bathing place, and chanting their names is my nourishment.â âMy wealth is NityÄnanda. My Lord is Gauracandra. My very life is the Divine Couple, RÄdhÄ and KášášŁáša.â The Mercy That Carries Us The same mercy that brought us to bhakti, brought us to Guru, brought us to the holy name, brought us to VášndÄvana, and brought us to service, will continue carrying us forward. Therefore the question is not: âHow will I attain perfection?â Rather: âHow can I honor the mercy already given?â The answer: Honor the Holy Name. Honor Guruâs instructions. Honor service opportunities. Honor Vaiᚣášavas. Honor prasÄda. Honor everything connected to KášášŁáša. Honoring Mercy Is Bhakti A beautiful conclusion emerges: âIf you are wondering what to do in bhaktiâhonor what has already been given.â Honor: NÄma-sevÄ Guru-sevÄ Vaiᚣášava-sevÄ KášášŁáša-kathÄ PrasÄda The opportunities arranged by Guru and KášášŁáša Then service naturally deepens. âO TulasÄŤ DevÄŤ, beloved of KášášŁáša, I offer repeated obeisances unto you. My only aspiration is to attain service to ĹrÄŤ ĹrÄŤ RÄdhÄ-KášášŁáša.â âPlease make me your follower and grant me qualification for service.â âMake me your servant and engage me as a servant of KášášŁáša.â KášášŁáša says that He remains hidden behind His divine potency. The conditioned soul cannot discover Him through intellect, scholarship, or independent endeavor. But when mercy descends through ĹrÄŤ Guru, the Vaiᚣášavas, TulasÄŤ DevÄŤ, and the Holy Name, the Lord gradually reveals Himself. Thus the devoteeâs realization becomes: âI am not reaching KášášŁáša by my strength. KášášŁáša is reaching me through mercy.â And the proper response is simple: Honor the mercy. Serve the mercy. Depend on the mercy. And that mercy will carry the soul all the way to the lotus feet of ĹrÄŤ ĹrÄŤ RÄdhÄ-KášášŁáša. Hare KášášŁáša.đđ¸ đđ
