ФАТСИЯ — от Японии до наших подоконников. История, уход и условия.
Fatsia japonica is a spectacular, large-leaved plant native to southern Japan. In this episode, I show my Fatsia specimen and explain in detail what this plant is, where it came from in Europe, and what conditions it really needs. This video will also feature an interesting segment about the botanists and naturalists of the late 18th and early 19th centuries – Thunberg and Siebold. Both studied the plants of Japan, and their research at that time was more like the adventures of Indiana Jones than the work of scientists. You'll understand that, despite its unpretentiousness, Fatsia is not the easiest plant to grow indoors. Like most subtropical plants, Fatsia requires a cool winter. But growing plants is always an experiment. And who knows, maybe it really won't be so difficult. Both you and I will be able to grow a large, beautiful Fatsia japonica bush.
