RB3: "Run to the Hills (Original Version)" Expert Guitar FC (DLC)

The BEAT doubling in the intro makes the animations look very uncanny and this chart is a lot grosser than its RB1 counterpart. But hey, it didn't export, so if you wanted to revisit "Run to the Hills" in RB2 and beyond, what were you gonna do other than just buy the DLC one anyway? I even fell for this gambit myself on PS3 back in the day. Not proud of that one, honestly. In RB1, the solo isn't totally free, but it has that classic 2007 HMX mindset of sticking heavy to the grid and keeping the patterns pretty standard. This version throws that philosophy out the window, as evidenced by the solo chart at 2:23. The patterns are nowhere near intuitive here and even when we get the classic trills during the second half, they're disjointed and offset in such weird intervals that they're barely recognizable. I get that the cover and original are gonna be a little different, but the complete inversion of authoring principles is what gets me with this one. It's (essentially) the same song, by the same author, less than two years later, but charted so, so differently. Some might even say worse, but again, you can't ordinarily play the cover in RB3, so what choice do we even have in the matter but to just put up with it?
