La Grecia a Roma, una mostra racconta l'eredità dell'arte antica nell'Urbe

When Greek Art Made Rome Shine: an immersive journey retraces the encounter between two extraordinary civilizations, protagonists of a dialogue that shaped Western taste and aesthetics. Following the success of the Phidias exhibition, the Capitoline Museums present "Greece in Rome," the second event in the series "The Great Masters of Ancient Greece." The exhibition narrates the fortunes of Greek works that reached the Eternal City between the founding of Rome and the Imperial Age thanks to trade contacts, military conquests, and a passion for collecting. The enduring influence of Greek masters on Roman art comes to life in the evocative setting of Villa Caffarelli, from November 29 to April 12, 2026.
