There’s 10 great sounding tones onboard, the usual pianos, organs and strings etc, and these are projected out through a pair of rear firing speakers or via a headphone socket for silent practice. The piano comes supplied with a sustain pedal and detachable music rest, and there’s also USB connectivity that’s compatible with android or iOS devices, so you can access tuition apps including Casios free Chordana Play app, which is definitely worth checking out if you buy one of these. The Casio CDP-S100 features a a 3.5mm auxillary audio input, so you can connect your phone, tablet or mp3 player allowing you to play songs and backing tracks through the internal speakers. It’s also the only one of our full size 88 note pianos that can also run on batteries, 6 AAs to be exact, and the give you up to 13 hours playing time.
