First: Ashley and John Russell report about a new study on life expectancy --- the average number of years a baby born in a particular year might expect to live. Next: Scientists say they have successfully produced corals to improve their resistance to ocean temperatures that are higher than normal. The researchers used a method known as selective breeding to produce desirable characteristics in corals to better tolerate extreme environmental conditions.
