Beautiful, Brutal Bosnia — Trans Dinarica Ep.4

In this video I leave Livno and continue through the stunning landscapes of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first highlight of this episode is a campsite beside Blidinje Lake, one of those spots where you pitch the tent and just stand there for a moment taking it all in. We also pass through Tomislavgrad before heading to Mostar for a well earned day off, a city I'd been looking forward to visiting and it absolutely did not disappoint. Bosnia then reminds us what the Trans Dinarica is really about, lots and lots of climbing! The final two days of this episode involve around 3000 metres of climbing, the hardest riding I've faced so far on this trip. The daily mileage stays manageable, but the mountains are relentless, and by the time Bill and I roll into Tušila we've well and truly earned our rest. The climbing that this route is famous for has absolutely arrived. During our day off in Mostar I also take a little time with Bill to go over his bike, what it is, and what bags and racks he has gone with. We will go over what he has in the bags a little later in the trip.
