The movie "Masters of the Universe" will be released on June 5th. This is the first live-action film adaptation in 40 years of the "He-Man and Masters of the Universe" toy series released by Mattel. For reference, the previous film adaptation was "Masters of the Universe" (1987), starring Dolph Lundgren. The director is Travis Knight, CEO of Laika and director of "Kubo and the Two Strings" (2016) and "Bumblebee" (2018). It's certain that this film is filled with the passion and memories of Travis Knight, who played with He-Man toys as much as Transformers during his childhood (with money his father earned from selling Nike shoes).
