Ferrero Rocher Cake - I don't think I need to tell you where I got inspired to create this cake, right? Two layers of cocoa sponge cake, a middle layer of nut sponge cake, a creamy milk chocolate filling and a bonus between layers of hazelnut chocolate cream (like Nutella), all covered with chocolate ganache with lightly roasted and ground hazelnuts. ⭐ Ingredients for the cocoa layer cake: 2 medium eggs 10 tablespoons caster sugar 10 tablespoons oil (85ml) 10 tablespoons milk (85ml) 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar 4 tablespoons cocoa powder a pinch of salt 1 teaspoon of baking powder (or half a teaspoon of ammonia) 450-500g sifted flour ⭐ Ingredients for the nut sponge cake: 30g flour 100g powdered sugar 120g ground nuts 6 egg whites a pinch of salt 1 teaspoon of vinegar (or lemon juice) 100g caster sugar ⭐ Ingredients for the chocolate filling: 6 yolks 50g white granulated sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 400ml whipping cream 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar) 300g milk chocolate (or in combination with 50/50 bitter chocolate) 250g mascarpone ⭐ Ingredients for the chocolate glaze: 150g milk chocolate 150ml whipping cream 1/2 cup of roasted and ground hazelnuts I hope you like my proposal and I hope you try the recipe.
