A King, a Crossbow, and an Historic Château Down the Road From Us | Manor & Maker

Most people have never heard of Château de Châlus-Chabrol -- but in 1199, a young crossbowman standing on its walls fired the shot that would kill Richard the Lionheart, one of England's most legendary kings. There's remarkably little signage for a place with that kind of history, and we thought that deserved a visit. We headed out with friends to explore the ruins, piece together the story, and honestly just enjoy the kind of afternoon that only living in southwest France can produce. Then, back at our own château, we finally we rename our guest rooms to reflect our wonderful Patreons, come see what we landed on. History, friendship, and a little bit of home-making. That's this week. Here’s a 5% coupon for all of our products on our website, valid until the end of the year: ManorandMaker Solar Floodlight Cam: https://reolink.com/us/product/reolin...
