Spray Hood

We built our own sprayhood (dodger) from scratch — no kits, no fancy gear, just an old sewing machine and a bit of determination. In this video, we walk you through the full DIY process: ✔️ Making a custom pattern from heavy-duty tarpaulin ✔️ Cutting and sewing UV-resistant, waterproof nylon fabric ✔️ Adding clear PVC vinyl windows ✔️ Using, plastic zippers, webbing & buckles Every stitch was done on our basic home sewing machine — proof that you don’t need professional tools to make your own boat gear. ⚓ This sprayhood was made for our small sailboat and fits perfectly. It protects the cockpit, keeps the rain out, and looks way better than we expected. ➤ Watch us install the sprayhood on the boat here:    • We Made Our Own Sprayhood – It Almost Work...   🎥 Filmed in Norway 🧵 100% DIY Like this kind of content?
