Copyright: FCC-Z One License #A738477, CCLI #3110834 Be Still and Know: A Summer Worship Series, June 14 – August 9 Our summer worship series explores prayer through the familiar words, “Be still and know.” Each week, we will use prayer beads as a simple, hands-on way to slow down, breathe, and turn our hearts toward God. Together, we will learn from the prayer life of Jesus, explore the Lord’s Prayer, reflect on scripture, and discover prayers that help us become more aware of God’s presence in everyday life. Prayer beads will be available in the pews for everyone to use during worship. Today’s focus is “Abba, Father.” Gracious Givers: For June, we are collecting adult lotion & baby lotion for Grace Community Cupboard. On the third Thursday of each month, Grace United Methodist Church hosts its Community Cupboard. People can shop for essential items at no cost. Youth Mission Sunday – Sunday, June 28: Join us for Youth Mission Sunday as our youth lead worship and share stories from their mission trip to Milwaukee, June 6–12. During their week of service, learning, and community engagement, they experienced God at work in powerful ways. Come support our youth, hear their reflections, and celebrate the ways faith grows when we serve together. Habitat for Humanity Stud-A-Thon – June 28 On June 28, as part of Sunday Funday, FCC will participate in a Habitat for Humanity Stud-A-Thon, decorating and praying over wall studs that will be used to build a local Habitat home. We will have 18 studs. Vacation Bible School: Registration is open! It is time to register your kiddos and invite your friends! We also have volunteer opportunities available. New FCC-Z T-Shirts for Sale – June 28: Show your FCC-Z spirit with our new shirt design featuring the Y Bridge on the back! Shirts will be available for purchase on Sunday, June 28 for $20 each. A limited number of T-shirts will be available to buy that day. Once those are sold out, orders may be placed for additional T-shirts. Sweatshirts and long-sleeved T-shirts will also be available by order. Proceeds to benefit the 2027 Youth mission trip. General Assembly 2026: July 10–11 (Online) The whole church across the U.S. and Canada is invited to participate in General Assembly 2026, rooted in Ephesians 3:14–21 and God’s limitless love that calls us to “set a bigger table.” GA is more than meetings—it’s a covenantal gathering for worship, learning, fellowship, and action. Registration is $30. FCC-Z will serve as a local gathering point, so you can participate with your church community—please register so we can plan.
