But I am happy to reveal that I am in the clear now to keep Mondays as my day to do midday activity in the subway. As a result, I am pleased to reveal that when I come back from the Southeast Game Exchange this weekend, I will be covering the R211A (D) Train with the midday pattern and I will also cover the R211A Rush Hour patterns on the (B) and (D) Trains this summer hopefully before I leave for the Azores. This was a rather interesting evening. Yes it took place after my shift at Con Edison concluded, but something that was very strange was the behavior of the weather in this ride. Leaving the office, I didn’t expect a hard shower to hit the city and it wasn’t looking like it when we were on the Sea Beach Line, but when we got on the Manhattan Bridge, it was pouring hard and it pretty much closed any notable operations at Luna Park for the day. I was hoping to go to Luna Park after this, but sadly I couldn’t. It was also abnormal behavior with the weather for another reason which I will talk about in the return leg.
