Irish Ferries Ulysses tour. Holyhead to Dublin

Allow A2B via Sea to (virtually) take you across the Irish Sea aboard Irish Ferries cruise ferry Ulysses from Holyhead to Dublin. Launched in 2000, currently 22yrs old, as you will see she still looks brand new and being 12 decks high she towers over other vessels! On Deck 11 above the bridge at the front of the ferry is the magnificent Club Class Lounge. Accessible at a supplement one can enjoy stunning views of the passing vistas through the floor to ceiling windows whilst partaking in a hot or cold beverage and light snacks. Alcohol is available at a charge. Down to Deck 9, all the other passenger amenities are located here - being on a single level, if you have walking difficulties you will not have an issue. At the front of the ship is the Leopold Blooms Bar. Decorated in Irish themed décor there are comfortable seats consisting of sofas and stool and offering sea views though windows on three sides. Walking aft we come to the main foyer to starboard and Boylan's Brasserie to port. The later offering a wide range of meals which vary depending on the time of day. Cafe LaFayette is slightly aft offering (again) light snacks and with the seating area being slightly raised one can enjoy the sea views over the heads of those seated in the adjacent hall. The entrance to the large shopping centre is aft of Café LaFayette offering a good selection of wines, beers, spirits, fragrances, souvenirs and tobacco products - the later are kept behind the till. The shopping centre has an attractive glazed skylight which is actually two decks above allowing natural light to flood in - amazing! Between the two is a mezzanine lounge with comfortable seating. Walking aft, to port we come to the cinema showing the latest releases and to starboard is the Family Lounge where a children's playroom and gaming machines are located. Irish Ferries Ulysses operates from Holyhead in Anglesey Wales to Dublin Ireland in around three hours. You can expect a mini cruise experience - in fact, in Dublin there is signage stating Ulysses is a cruise ferry. Please watch the video and (virtually) come aboard.
