That's a quick way to summarize AUSA's history. The Catalan company was founded to bring to life the charming PTV 250, the main feature of today's video, a single-cylinder convertible microcar of which around a thousand units were manufactured. The appearance of the SEAT 600 and other peculiar market conditions meant the project's profitability disappeared and its continuity was jeopardized. From this, the idea arose to convert the company to dump truck manufacturing, an activity they have been successfully doing for more than six decades. Today we visit AUSA to tell you all about that history and test the PTV 250.
