Candiani Custom Micro-factory

Candiani Custom is a virtuous project based on a manufacturer-to-consumer model. It is the world’s first micro-factory to be located in a city’s historical center (Milan) where it produces custom-made jeans. When creating Candiani Custom, the whole industrial jean-making process was redesigned and reduced to store size. Candiani Custom entails the entire production process of a jean from start to finish, complying with the strictest sustainability standards thanks to the use of the industry’s most innovative technologies and an unprecedented short supply chain allowing for zero-centimeter manufacturing. Candiani Custom was designed focusing on five of the most alarming problems in the fashion industry: overproduction, end of life, social responsibility, transparency, and environmental impact.
