Tanglewood Farm Miniatures- Palpating Miniature Jersey Cows 1

We are pregnancy checking our miniature jersey heifers. Miniature cattle are a little more tricky to palpate since they are very small and difficult to manipulate. Since we don't have a basis for size to go off of as we do with standard size cows, we try and feel the baby and estimate how close to term they are. When born, a miniature calf will only weight around 15lbs-25lbs.
