4`C Wasser! Defi training am Limit! Winter Wahnsinn.

Oh man, two weeks in Tenerife and I'm so spoiled. 25 degrees every day, 20 degrees water temperature, and the wind absolutely constant. As soon as I get back to Germany, I'm already happy if the lake isn't frozen solid. But what can you do? In three months, the biggest windsurfing event in the world, the Defi Wind in southern France, is already upon us. Since I want to compete with a windsurf foil, that means practicing windsurf foiling. Well, today was the day. I went to Lake Störmthal. Water temperature 4 degrees! But no ice floes. The wind was extremely gusty, between 10 and 30 knots. Of course, I had to fall in right at the beginning. It was so incredibly cold on my head. Even the foiling itself was rather nerve-wracking. I definitely need to practice! Who's already been out on the water? What time of day are you going out? Defi Wind ambitions?
