I had the chance to upgrade the display in my E83 X3, so definitely jumped at the opportunity! If you are adding this to your car for the first time, replacing the little storage bin on the top of the dashs, you are going to be amazed! This model is not only an improvement in OS, build and design over the first generation several years ago, but even the back plate is better! I found the surround on the previous display to be a little thin, so at times didn't want to lay down flat. Thank you to AvinUSA for another great product, and what a great way to bring updated technology into a little older but much loved car!
