After The Storm

Hey, everyone, hope everything is okay. I'm realising my first EP called "What the Storm Left Behind". Is it about a time of grief of my life that i lost my dog, it was really difficult to surpass this part of my life. This is a EP for everyone that have lost someone dear and it needs time to recover from it. Life sometimes is hard, and we have to be strong to overcome anything. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lyrcs: For a long time I thought healing meant forgetting… But maybe it just means Learning how to carry the pain without letting it destroy you. I still think about the nights When the weight inside me won When every memory felt sharp enough To turn my blood to rust I spent so long inside the dark Making peace with being numb But even broken hearts keep beating Even after what they’ve become And maybe scars aren’t signs of weakness Maybe they’re proof we survived Every loss that tried to break us And somehow failed to take our lives I’m learning how to live again Without running from the pain Without pretending I’m okay When storms still flood my veins And even if the past still hurts It doesn’t own me now I carry every loss with me But I won’t let it pull me down There were days I hated waking up Days I couldn’t face myself I built my home inside the grief And called it something else But healing isn’t instant It’s every small step forward made Even when your hands still shake Even when you’re still afraid I refuse to die Inside the shadow of my pain I’ve spent too many years Feeling like i'm chained They took pieces of my heart But not the person I can be And I won't let my losses Become the end of me The ones we lost don’t disappear They live in who we become In every scar we learn to wear In every battle we’ve overcome So I’ll learn how to breathe again Even with these fractured lungs And I’ll find beauty in a life I thought was already done Because surviving wasn’t the end It was where I began And after every storm that broke me I’m still standing where I am --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the support! #draitokun #emotional #metalcore
