After storing our bikes and most of our luggage in Adelaide with Peter, a Warmshowers host, we head to the airport: We're flying to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. We've rented a camper van for almost two weeks and are touring this beautiful island. We start on the east coast and head north. From the very beginning, we're captivated by the wildness of nature and its isolation. We've long since gotten used to driving on the left; what's new to us are the gravel roads that take us to remote regions. We see wild coastlines, forests, mountains, rainforests, meadows, and lakes. An incredibly diverse island!
