STAGE FRIGHT: And one powerful technique for beating it!

STAGE FRIGHT! Whether you are a musician, an actor, a public speaker, a comedian, anything that appears “On Stage” or even in an important interview, Stage Fright can sabotage our best work. The audience shows up expecting confidence. They want to see mastery. But the same inner pressure that pushes us to achieve mastery can also undermine us in the moment—if we bring it onstage. Before I eventually worked through it more deeply, I discovered a simple but powerful technique—something I built into my daily practice—that dramatically reduced the anxiety that was getting in my way. In this video I am going to talk through the issue of Stage Fright, and believe me I was a Board-Certified, Card-Carrying Stage Fright Mess®, and a pretty simple change to my daily routine that helped me conquer it for myself. In this video, I break down: • Why stage fright happens • The hidden practice habit that makes it worse • And one practical technique you can start using today to perform with more confidence This isn’t just mindset—it’s something you can train, daily, just like your instrument or craft. I’d love to hear from anyone, be you a musician, singer, actor, public speaker of any kind, whoever you are, in the comments, on how Stage Fright has impacted you, and what has WORKED for you! ⸻ 🎓 Study with me at ArtistWorks!
