Holiday Corona Edition

Time to sit down and listen about a story that happen in the ancient days. 😉 Happy Holidays everyone and please stay safe! - Video Description: The opening scene is Renca sitting on a rocking chair covered with a blue blanket. She is reading. She is wearing a Black sweater and has glasses. The next scene is Renca acting like two kids who are sitting down on the floor. One has a stuffed pink dog and the other one is a stuffed monkey wrapped around her neck. The first kid with the pink stuffed dog proceeds to ask grandma to tell a story. The kid begs. The other kid with the monkey doll says yeeeaaa! Grandma chuckles and say, “ohhh…” she clasps her hands and looks up. Deep sigh. Grandma begins by saying “Long long long (repeat 2x)” then scene shows to two kids watching grandma in awe. Grandma is still signing “long long (continued) time ago in 2019 B.C.” The kids ask “B.C.?” Grandma responds with an emphasis “Before Corona.” The kids gasp. One kid asks “what was that like?” Grandma responds “No masks needed. We socialized, gathered together, went to places, enjoyed ourselves, traveled everywhere, and drank, and ate.” Caption reads “dark sounding instrument.” Grandma says “January 2020. Boom.” The kids whimper. Grandma says “just..wow. We had to wear masks, socially distance ourselves, self quarantine- why? Corona. One kid squirms. Grandma continues, “can’t sit in a restaurant- corona. Cant food shop with crowds- corona. Out of toilet paper- corona. Out of cleaning supplies- corona. Lack of dating and meeting new people- corona.” One kid says, “Whaaa.. those poor creatures.” Grandma continues “You walk and miss a step- corona. Didn’t finish your homework- corona. Got a flat tire- corona. With basketball, made a “brick” shot- corona. Lost your WiFi connection- corona. Missing a sock- corona. Oh! You know how we usually bake our chocolate chip cookies, but we just had to change it to peanut butter cookies because ..” One kid yells and says “cos of corona!!” Then grandma responds, “Huh? Oh no. I just forgot to buy the chocolate chips.”
