The Leapmotor C10 Plus | Bigger Than e.MAS 7, RM10K More Than Atto 3 Premium RWD

Leapmotor might have just hit the sweet spot with their D-segment offering - the C10 Plus. For those looking for something bigger and more spacious than popular C-segment EV SUVs like the e.MAS 7, MGS5 EV, Atto 3 and Leapmotor's very own B10, but with the ability to go farther than its D-segment rival - the XPeng G6; the C10 Plus might be the perfect option. Having said that, the Atto 3 Premium RWD also has a WLTP range of 510 km. The C10+ handles very well for it's size. A bit more firm than the XPeng G6 Standard Range but not as harsh as the entry level Tesla Model Y, at least for Penang roads. The audio system is decent as well, and so is the DC charging speed. But all is not sunshine and smiles. Having a spacious in interior means designers have to think carefully where to place certain things e.g. cup holders. As you can see from the video, the placement of cupholders for rear passengers isn't ideal. We found the lack of physical buttons for often used features annoying. Also, you can't save ADAS settings so you'd have to reset them every time you restart the car. Another cumbersome thing is that you have to come to a stop before you're able to change to or from one-pedal drive. Lastly, there's no AACP but there will be in the CKD units coming soon. If AACP isn't important to you, the current offer is very tempting as it brings the price down to the higher end of C-segment EV SUVs. In summary, for those who appreciate minimalist design, lots of space, solid handling & decent range at a good price - the Leapmotor C10 Plus should be on your shortlist.
