I DRESSED AS SANTA TO VISIT A CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL WITH DINKY PONIES REINDEER 🎅

Visiting ‪@GreatWesternHospital‬ Children’s Ward this Christmas with Dinky Ponies was an experience I’ll never forget 🎄 Tinkerbell, the Miniature Shetland Pony, was transformed into a ‘Reindeer,’ and I got suited up as Santa to bring a bit of festive magic to some truly incredible children. The children’s smiles said it all, and seeing their faces light up as they met Tinkerbell from their hospital beds was so special. It was amazing to be part of this day, and I want to say a huge thank you to Sarah and Darcey from Dinky Ponies for inviting me along, and to the amazing hospital staff for making it all happen. This visit was organised by Voluntary Services at The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as part of their ‘Pets as Therapy’ initiative. These sessions allow therapy animals to visit different areas of the hospital, helping to lift the spirits of patients, staff, and visitors. Being part of this initiative this Christmas was a privilege, and it’s something I’ll always remember.
