The first encounter with the Borg has happened, the threat is real, and every decision on board could determine whether Picard, Data, Worf, Geordi and the rest of the crew survive this sector. But then the Enterprise discovers an abandoned ship. What at first looks like another routine salvage operation quickly turns into one of the most surprising moments of the entire mission: inside a cryosleep chamber, the crew finds Tasha Yar. Is this a chance to strengthen the crew? A strange anomaly? Or the beginning of a new problem in a sector where nothing is ever truly safe?
