Einar erklärt Eisenbahn - Vectron (A1 durchführen)

A Class 193 locomotive isn't simply switched off at the end of a working day. When a Siemens Vectron finishes work, there are a few things to do. Checks, functional tests, and operating procedures for the final tasks of Level A1 are demonstrated here. These generally apply to all variants; the order or scope may vary depending on the railway company. The following applies in principle: First, secure the locomotive only with the spring-loaded brake to check the indicator lights. Hold the SA for the relevant network raised to check the condition and completeness of the contact strips. Operate the sanding device in both directions and check its function. Be sure to vent the main air line before switching over the Piastra Pneumatica (Pneumatic Rail System), if present! At the end, open an air shut-off valve on the main air line.
