Athal-Ka Vs. Aerial Style Hammer - アトラル・カ エリアルスタイルハンマー ソロ【MHXX】

Athal-Ka is still to this day, and probably forever will be, my favorite Monster Hunter final boss. Fighting this monster for the first time in XX is something I will simply never forget, it was one of the most unique experiences, ever. I also never got spoiled of the fight, too. Funnily, when I did a transfer of my Generations save to XX, some collab weapons were not available from Gen to XX, and as a result, a glitch happened where some collab weapons transformed into Athal-Ka weapons in the transition to XX. I remember being astonished by the look of these golden, Egyptian themed Dual Blades, thinking that they were some sort of new Yu-Gi-Oh collab or something in XX, having no idea they were actually the Dual Blades from Athal-Ka. I'm a huge fan of anything Egypt themed in video games in general, and deserts are my favorite landscape in real life too. This whole encounter is really all I love. Athal-Ka has a great moveset with deceptively long range, it is by far one of the monsters with one of the largest and most interesting movesets in the series. Athal-Neset is unfortunately much more boring and has some stupid RNG on whether or not it will instantly take you out of its back, which I was lucky did not happen in this very good run. In general, Athal-Neset gave me the best possible RNG for its moves, both when I was on the land and on its back. The 5 phases of this fight are incredibly well thought-out, and the last cinematic shot on Athal-Ka after defeating Athal-Neset is almost more epic than any other in the series, for a monster as small as her and not as dangerous as something like Alatreon or Fatalis. I love playing with Aerial Style against Athal-Ka because you can counter all of her moves with it, with the single exception of her pheromones-fart attack. I really have too much to say about Athal-Ka but I feel like this description is too long already so I'll stop here. I hope you'll enjoy this video.
