On 14 January 1954, participants in the 1932-33 ‘Bodyline’ Ashes cricket series, England captain Douglas Jardine, English bowler Harold Larwood and Australian wicket-keeper Bert Oldfield, who suffered a fractured skull after being hit in the head by a Larwood delivery in the Adelaide Test reunited for lunch at Sydney’s Pickwick Club.
