The games set themselves apart from the others in that you don’t recruit demons to fight on your behalf, you are the demons. The demons the party turns into however have their own fair share of lore and significance to the plot, more than you might first think. In fact, my first time around I didn’t give much thought as to the demons, or atma avatars, at all, and I bet not many others did either. We all know the party members of Digital Devil Saga, but we don’t know much about their demonic representation. Let’s change that now by diving into the lore, relation to the character, and design of these hand picked atma avatars representing the party members we share an adventure with.
