LEVELING PLYWOOD FLOOR, PLANING PLYWOOD, SELF LEVELING PLYWOOD, FLOORING, UNEVEN FLOOR

How to level flooring. Leveling uneven plywood subfloor that's really unlevel and needs to planed before we can level the floor. This video is from our Acacia wood flooring installation. The problem with the floor was in one of the bedrooms on the second floor and the room had a plywood subfloor. On one of the outer walls, two of the plywood sheets came together uneven. One of the plywood sheet was much higher then the sheet next to it and then the whole sheet dipped down over an inch as it ended at the outer wall. So before we could fix the dip we needed to plane the two sheets to make them the same height. We used a Ryobi planer to do the planning. Once we corrected the unevenness we then poured some self lever to fix the dip. We used Mapie self leveler and a long board as a straight edge to apply the concrete.
