FT2 Horizontal Cable & Wire Flame Test (UL 1581 Part 1100 & UL 2556 Part 9.1)

This video illustrates the FT2 Horizontal Specimen Flame Test according to UL 1581 Part 1100 and UL 2556 Part 9.1 (FT2/FH/Horizontal Flame) standards. Test Procedure: The cable is secured horizontally. A burner is used to apply the flame and it is secured at an angle of 20° in respect to the vertical. The duration of the test requires exactly 30 seconds of continuous flame application.
