Impactados pela explosão da música country norte americana ocorrida no final dos anos 80 e começo dos anos 90, em 2020 quatro amigos ligados por essa paixão resolveram revistar as trilhas sonoras que embalaram as noites dessa época. Com forte influência das vozes de Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, as linhas de guitarra singulares de Brent Mason, sem deixar de privilegiar a cena moderna com raízes no passado, tal qual Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band, Midland, o BR Country faz um passeio pelo estilo transitando entre o tradicional e o moderno, sempre respeitando a escola fundada em Nashville. Tal qual os mestres do estilo, os arranjos da banda focam nas vozes, dinâmica e nuances explorando as camadas buscando fazer o simples de maneira sofisticada. Com as restrições impostas pelo distanciamento social, o BR Country foi desenvolvendo seu trabalho pela via inversa: Começando no estúdio de gravação, tendo como primeiro resultado uma homenagem aos artistas de agora e sempre, revistando a faixa “Forever Country” que compila hits de John Denver, Willie Nelson e Dolly Parton. Essa homenagem contou com a participação de amigos de vários locais do Brasil e do mundo. Nessa homenagem participaram artistas talentosíssimos(as) tal como Gabriela Toloi que além de cantora é Atriz em Londres, Carlos Toloi entusiasta da cena musical independente que encabeça o portal Music Cave, Bruninho Scandalli um dos sanfoneiros mais famosos do Brasil que acompanha o Programa do Ratinho no SBT, Mantovani Neto que é um consagrado Pianista formado na França atualmente residindo em Lyon, Suellen cantora e figura emblemática na cena independente música de SP com uma extensa carreira e diversos projetos, Luís Panini engenheiro de som e produtor musical, premiado em diversos concursos e instituições, Jean Santos músico e responsável pelo icônico espaço “Garagem Santos” em Curitiba. Hoje, contando com 9 integrantes, o BR Country é uma sincera homenagem de amigos à música country. *** Impacted by the explosion of North American Country Music that occurred in the late 80s and early 90s, in 2020 four friends linked by this passion decided to search the soundtracks that rocked the nights of that time. This tribute was attended by friends from various parts of Brazil and the World.
