Cut Knurling Tool for the Lathe Pt.2
In the video I finish the construction of the cut knurling tool and test two different pitch knurl wheels. Once I aligned the angle of the wheel correctly it cut straight knurls just fine. However, it does need some method of removing the swarf during use to improve surface finish - flood coolant or compressed air perhaps. I've also ordered a variety of other knurl wheel pitches to try out because the ones I have are either very coarse or very fine.
