OLD MAN'S BIKE: 1992 Honda Goldwing GL1500 Aspencade
This new-to-me Goldwing has 176,000 kilometres on the clock yet rides and looks (with minor defects) like new yet nobody wants these old tourers. 'They're Old Man's bikes' people say. Are they really that stodgy, that uninteresting? I must admit I had a prejudice towards them, but like all prejudices, they're based on ignorance. Mine certainly was. Now I find these old tourers strangely capable and enjoyable and not stodgy at all.
