Today we return to El Campillo de la Luisiana, to a very special place: the El Campillo Senior Citizens Association. A corner where the town's stories live on, where old photographs remind us of those who came before us, and where our roots are never forgotten. In this video, I want to thank everyone who participated in that walk through El Campillo, sharing memories, experiences, and moments that are part of our town's collective memory. I also wanted to give them a plaque with a QR code so that the video will always be present at the association. A small token, but full of affection, so that anyone can scan it and hear their voices again. Because a town is not just its streets, its houses, or its square. A town is its people. Its elders. Their memories. Its roots. And as long as someone continues to listen to those stories, a part of El Campillo will live on.
