Located in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain, is the town and municipality of Estepona. It is a popular resort and holiday destination renowned for its beaches which stretch along some 21 kilometers of coastline. Estepona is one of the most popular year-round holiday destinations for both tourists and foreign residents alike on the Costa del Sol. Even today, the town manages to retain its old Andalusian charm. Its maze of white streets with picturesque squares, decked with colourful pots brimming with flowers, is the very essence of a coastal Andalusian town. Estepona conserves its customs and traditions and has blended them in seamless harmony with its modern and tourist-focused side. As the visitors wander around the town, they will be surprised with open-air sculptures by renowned artists, artistic murals that decorate building facades and bring life to the streets - a rich and diverse heritage indeed.
