Hitler se musel chtě nechtě rozhodnout pro stažení vojsk z Ardén, a proto se koná v Ligneuville večírek na rozloučenou, kterého se účastní Mohnke, Peiper, Skorzeny, Preuss, Diefenthal, Hansen a i letecké eso Johannes Steinhoff.
