Barry Bostwick is marvelous as the initally reluctant first American President who remains a symbol of diplomacy and strength to this day in this momentous account which co-stars Patty Duke as Martha Washington. With Barry Bostwick, Patty Duke, David Dukes, Jaclyn Smith and a giant cast of familiar 1970s and early 1980s actors. Originally aired as a mini-series -- shown in three parts, over three nights beginning on April 8th 1984.
