This time, we'll be introducing a wheel and tire change and the accompanying slight lift (2-inch lift) to dress up the suspension. [From Purchasing New Wheels to Coating] Wheels are the most susceptible to brake dust, puddles, and even dirt, especially for cars that are built to handle rough terrain with off-road tires. And if you only give them basic care right after you buy them, dirt will build up and they'll get increasingly dirty. If you're buying your favorite new wheels, you want to keep them looking nice for as long as possible, right? Purchasing your new wheels is a great opportunity to coat them before installing them. Since they're not yet mounted, it's easy to access the underside of the wheels, allowing you to apply the coating in the best possible condition. Many people are hesitant to purchase tires and wheels online, but I purchased them from Tire Square Mitsuya Co., Ltd., and everything from their customer service, finishing, and delivery was perfect!! https://www.rakuten.co.jp/tireshop/ [Installing Open Country White Letter Tires on a Hustler] Since this is a light vehicle that's perfect for fun, I'm going to put on some rugged off-road tires to give it an off-road feel. If I were to put on off-road tires, I wanted white-letter tires with white lettering. While searching for white-letter tires, I found my options were limited if I wanted to keep the original 165/60R15 wheel size. The only option that could be fitted to the original wheels was the imported Nankang MUD STAR. The Japanese-made TOYO Open Country tire size doesn't come in white lettering. However, if I really wanted the Open Country with white lettering, the size would be 165/80R14, which meant I'd need to lift it up (raise the vehicle height). [1-inch lift] One inch is approximately 2.54 cm, so lifting one inch raises the vehicle height by about 2 cm. Installing this would be difficult for me to do myself, so I asked my regular dealer to do it when I changed to a carabiner. This part lifts the car by one inch, but since the tire size also increases by about one inch, the total lift is two inches. It's about 5-6 cm higher than the stock version.
