After encountering turbulence, two of our engines burned out, and we plummeted from 13,800 feet to 5,000 feet. Cabin pressure quickly changed, and the oxygen masks deployed. I've described what happened during those terrifying moments of breathlessness, how we got back on the plane, and how we moved on with our lives.
