Today we met with Mr.Leveine Simpson aka "Lay" a young farmer in a community called New Forest in Manchester Jamaica. Mr.Simpson who is a young farmer said he is in his farm 7 days per week, he has been farming for 10 years full time but before he was farming with his father and other farmers on and off. He is imploring young people to become apart of the farming field and said there is nothing to be ashame of if you love farming and want to start your own farm. In this video he shares how thyme is planted, what are somethings that can affect the thyme plant and how to care it. Mr.Simpson now has Thyme, Scallions, beetroot and sweet potatoes on his Farm.
