Meč ali strategija – kdo je zgradil njihovo moč? | Grofje Celjski 2. del
Can a family survive when it loses its greatest military leader? And who truly creates strength – the one who wins battles, or the one who builds the future in silence? 🔗 Links 📜 Full article and additional resources https://www.prepovedana-zgodovina.si 📚 Collection of historical books https://prepovedana-zgodovina.si/izde... 🔔 Subscribe to the Forbidden History channel / @prepovedanazgodovina The documentary Forbidden History reveals a key turning point in the story of the Celjes – the moment when, after the death of the military leader, their true rise begins. After the death of Miroslav I of Celje in 1359, the family finds itself in a test that could mean its end. But it is at this very moment that its true power begins to take shape. On one side stands Urh I of Celje – a man of the sword, building his reputation on European battlefields, from Dalmatia to Tyrol and Italy. On the other side stands Herman I of Celje – a strategist, who remains in the background and quietly strengthens the foundations of the family. This is a story about the duality that determined the future: war and diplomacy, movement and stability, sword and reason. When Urh dies in 1368, the balance is disrupted. All responsibility falls on Herman. Instead of a schism, something unexpected follows – consolidation, unification and preparation for a rise that will change the balance of power in Central Europe in the next generation. The story of the Celjes reveals one of the key laws of history: the greatest families are not born in moments of victory, but in periods of crisis. It is precisely at a time when everything could collapse that the foundations are created that enable later rise. Without Urh's sword, the Celts would not have entered the European stage. Without Herman's strategy, they would not have survived. ⏱️ TIMELINE (24:56) 00:00 Introduction – the question of power 01:08 Death of Miroslav I and the beginning of the test 03:52 Dual leadership: Urh and Herman 06:30 Urh I of Celje – military leader of the European space 10:42 Wars and influence (Dalmatia, Tyrol, Italy) 13:28 Marriage with Bosnia – dynastic upheaval 16:18 Year 1368 – death of Urh and the break 18:22 Herman I as the sole leader 21:12 Building foundations and stability 23:35 Conclusion – the beginning of the real rise Counts of Celje, Counts of Celje, Urh of Celje, Herman of Celje, Herman I of Celje, Herman II of Celje, history of Slovenia, Middle Ages, Slovenian history, Celje rise, Slovenian kingdoms, European history, medieval Europe, dynasties of Europe, Kotromanići, Bosnian history, Sigismund Luxembourgish, Forbidden History, Origin of Slovenians
