DIY Ikea Kitchen Remodel Series - New Range-hood Roof Venting - Ep10

In todays episode of our Ikea kitchen remodel series we are installing some much needed venting for a future range-hood, This 1960's kitchen has never had any venting or range hood so this is a much needed upgrade!! In this video we have to run a 6" solid rigid duct through the kitchen ceiling and into the attic and all the way out through the roof. We install a roof vent with a backdraft damper and finish off wrapping the duct with insulation.
