I was pulling code P0128 on my OBD 2 reader and I had a check engine light on my dash board, after fixing my BMW thermostat I'm pulling no codes and there is no check engine light I'm a very happy camper. It would probably be a good idea if you need to replace your BMW E65 E66 water pump and belts and maybe hoses, because you'll have to replace all that coolant again if you fix it later on.
